Man injured in Co Louth shooting

A 27-year-old man has been injured in a shooting in Omeath, Co Louth.

The man was shot in the chest and both hands shortly after midnight.

He is currently being treated in hospital in Drogheda. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
