Two men have appeared before a special sitting of the Special Criminal Court in Dublin charged with membership of the IRA.

Two men have appeared before a special sitting of the Special Criminal Court in Dublin charged with membership of the IRA.

Martin Kelly, 46, of Westpark, Artane, Dublin, and William Clare, 35, of Adare Park, Coolock, Dublin, were charged with membership of an illegal organisation known as the IRA, otherwise Oglaigh na hEireann, otherwise the Irish Republican Army, on July 29 2002.
