Competition Authority investigates 222 complaints

The Competition Authority opened investigations into 222 new complaints in 2001, a significant increase on the previous year’s figures, according to its annual report.

76 of these cases concerned alleged cartel behaviour, while the other 146 covered issues ranging from refusal to supply to market exclusion.
