British industry body supporting anti-sectarianism
The Confederation of British Industry has warned that Northern Ireland's economic future could be damaged by ongoing sectarian violence.
Spokesman Nigel Smyth said that street violence, riots and attacks on civilians and houses could affect the level of inward investment in the North and could discourage tourism.
The CBI has come out in support of an anti-sectarianism rally this Friday which was organised by Belfast Lord Mayor Alex Maskey. It has urged all its members to allow their workers to attend.
