Daffodil Day raises €2.7m for cancer sufferers

The Irish Cancer Society has revealed that it raised €2.7m on Daffodil Day this year, a 25% increase over last year’s figures.

The donations received help provide essential services for cancer patients, including night nursing services for the terminally ill, cancer liaison nurses in hospitals nationwide, home-care teams and a helpline for cancer sufferers.
