Garda recovering after bite attack

A Garda is in recovering in Louth County Hospital today after being bitten in the hand while dealing with crowd disturbances this morning.

The incident happened in the Carrickarnon area, 8 miles north of Dundalk.

The attacker - believed to be female - escaped into a crowd of around 70 people and no arrests were made.
