Maskey organises anti-sectarian meeting

Belfast Lord Mayor Alex Maskey has convened a special meeting of Belfast City Council later today to discuss the rising tide of sectarian violence at interface areas in the city.

Belfast Lord Mayor Alex Maskey has convened a special meeting of Belfast City Council later today to discuss the rising tide of sectarian violence at interface areas in the city.

Mr Maskey, a member of Sinn Fein, has also announced plans to establish an anti-sectarianism working party comprised of politicians, civic leaders, community workers and trade unionists.
