A Ryanair flight with 115 passengers and crew on board was forced to return to Dublin Airport shortly after take-off last night due to a technical problem.

A Ryanair flight with 115 passengers and crew on board was forced to return to Dublin Airport shortly after take-off last night due to a technical problem.

The plane was 20 minutes into its flight to Beauvais when it turned around and returned to Dublin.

Fire engines were on hand at the scene, but the aircraft landed without incident.

All passengers and crew disembarked safely and were later accommodated on another plane to continue their journey.
