Ulster paramilitaries must stand down - Blair

The British Prime Minister has today called for paramilitary groups in the North to be stood down as soon as possible.

At the British House of Commons question time, Mr Blair said it was ‘‘intolerable’’ that paramilitaries should have played a part in recent sectarian disturbances.
