Walsh seeks exception from set-aside rules

Agriculture Minister Joe Walsh has contacted the European Commission to seek special permission to use set-aside land for grazing this year.

Mr Walsh is seeking the derogation from the rules on the basis of a fodder shortage due to exceptionally bad weather conditions in recent months.
