Trimble keeps up the pressure
The Ulster Unionist leader, David Trimble, will keep up the pressure on the British government today to agree to his demand to take tough action against Sinn Fein after alleged breaches in the IRA ceasefire.
With only 48-hours to go, however, it seems unlikely that he will be successful. Sinn Fein is seriously concerned about what the British prime minister will announce tomorrow.
