Priest dies in church fall

A 65-year-old priest has died after falling from an upper floor of a church in Dublin yesterday.

A 65-year-old priest has died after falling from an upper floor of a church in Dublin yesterday.

The priest fell from John’s Lane Church yesterday evening. The incident happened on Thomas Street at around 6.30pm.

Gardai are investigating, but have stressed that they do not suspect foul play.

John’s Lane Church has one of the tallest spires in Dublin city.
