A move by Sky TV to resolve the issue of Ireland’s home-international soccer matches could avert a costly legal battle, according to Sinn Fein.

The party is averse to the Government’s ‘legal action’ contingency plan. The party’s spokesperson on communications and the media, Sean Crowe, says that such a battle would only benefit the lawyers.
