David Byrne calls for ‘Yes’ vote in Nice referendum

The European Commissioner for Health and Consumer Protection, David Byrne, is calling for a ‘Yes’ vote in the forthcoming Nice Treaty referendum.

Speaking on ‘Wide Angle’ early today, Mr Byrne said that the ramifications of another ‘No’ vote, would leave Ireland in an awful position.
