Harney says lawbreakers will see justice

The Government today maintained that those reported to have broken the law in the Ansbacher reports will eventually be brought to justice.

Tanaiste Mary Harney was speaking at a special sitting of the Dail today to discuss the 10,000-page report.

The Tainaiste argues that while prosecutions are the responsibility of other bodies, the Government will back them.

She is confident that the official enforcing bodies will pursue the matter with utmost vigour.
