Construction begins on Co Sligo wind farm

The construction of a wind farm has begun in Kingsmountain in Co Sligo.

The €35m Airtricity development will create up to 50 jobs.

Aitricity provides wind-generated electricity at discount prices, primarily to the small business sector.
