Ireland cheapest for petrol

Ireland is the cheapest place in Europe for a motoring holiday while Norway is the most expensive, according to new figures.

Ireland, where petrol costs as little as 80c a litre, has replaced Spain as offering motorists best value, statistics from American Express Foreign Exchange showed.
