Six people have been taken to hospital in the North East following a crash between a car and a motorbike. The accident happened at Ballymascallon on the Newry side of Dundalk.

Six people have been taken to hospital in the North East following a crash between a car and a motorbike. The accident happened at Ballymascallon on the Newry side of Dundalk.

Two of the injured have been taken to the Louth County hospital in Dundalk and are reported to be critical.

Two other occupants were taken to our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Drogheda while the remaining two have been taken to Daisy Hill hospital in Newry. It happened just before 4.30pm.
