Ballymena homes evacuated after search

Police in the North have evacuated several homes in Ballymena after "suspicious objects'' were found in a police search.

British army technical officers are at the scene.

Three sawn-off shotguns were discovered in this morning's operation in the Drumtara area of Ballymena.

One man has been arrested.
