Sinn Fein to vow opposition to Nice

Sinn Fein are due to announce today that they will be organising a vigorous campaign against the coming second referendum on the Nice Treaty. The Republican party are maintaining that this second referendum is nothing but a rehash of the first one.

In addition, they are saying that the government are snubbing the public by not recognising the vote on the first referendum. The opposition to Mr. Ahern’s second attempt to introduce the Nice Treaty will be announced at the party’s Ard Chomhairle later today in Dublin.
