Gardaí are searching the home of a man in connection with the abduction of a one-year-old child in Co Carlow yesterday morning.

Gardaí are searching the home of a man in connection with the abduction of a one-year-old child in Co Carlow.

The baby was taken from his home in Tinahely, Co Carlow, early yesterday morning during a domestic dispute.

He was eventually rescued after Gardaí chased a car through the Wicklow Mountains, but the abductor managed to escape and is still at large.
