Fine Gael has called on the Government to allocate an extra €5m to promote Ireland as a destination for British and American tourists.

Party spokesman Jimmy Deenihan said the number of tourists entering Ireland has fallen in the past year, a move which, he added, could lead to job losses and business closures.
