Nigerian pleads guilty to dangerous driving on Henry Street

A Nigerian national has pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to dangerous driving on Henry Street last year.

Ten people were injured in the incident.

Jacob Odubajo (36), of Clonliffe Road, Dublin 9, admitted to dangerous driving which created a substantial risk of death or serious injury to another on October 18, 2001.

Ms Pauline Whalley BL, prosecuting, said although Odubajo had only pleaded guilty to one count, 10 people were injured and the State required victim impact reports on them all.

Judge Elizabeth Dunne adjourned the case for sentence on October 9.
