NI customs target tobacco smuggling

Organised tobacco smuggling on holiday flights from the sun is being targeted by customs officers in the North, it was announced today.

More than 650,000 cigarettes, and 23 kilos of hand rolling tobacco were seized at Belfast International Airport when customs officers blitzed flights from Spain, Turkey and the Canary Islands during a four-day clampdown on tobacco smuggling.
