Post mortem due on Cork stabbing victim

A post mortem will be carried out later today on the body of a 25-year-old man who was stabbed to death in Cork yesterday evening.

Richard Daly, a 25-year-old father-of-one, died in hospital after he was stabbed in the chest in his apartment in Tower Street.

He was apparently trying to breaking up a row between another man and a woman.

A man is due in court later today in connection with the incident.
