IFA seek Government help for weather problems

The Irish Farmers Association has called on the Government to help farmers who have been hit hard by ongoing unseasonal bad weather.

The IFA said the annual means test for assistance schemes should be changed to take account of the losses farmers have and will suffer due to frequent rains.
