Marine portfolio decision welcomed

The decision to restore the marine portfolio to the cabinet is being welcomed this morning by fishing organisations.

Following a week of protests the Minister for Communications and Natural Resources, Dermot Ahern, said that the marine portfolio would now be included in his department.
