Adams insists loyalists are responsible for Belfast clashes

Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams has insisted that loyalists are to blame for the recent sectarian clashes around the Catholic enclave of Short Strand in east Belfast.

Speaking after a meeting with British Prime Minister Tony Blair in London today, Mr Adams said:
