Funeral of drowned teenager takes place in Co Limerick
The funeral of one of two teenagers who drowned in the River Shannon last week has taken place today in Co Limerick.
The body of 16-year-old Victor O’Connor was recovered from the river on Friday, a day after he jumped into the water near the Ardnacrusha power station in an effort to save his friend.
Divers are still searching for 16-year-old Lindsay Kiely, who fell into the water at Parteen, near Moyross.
