Union recommends Labour Court proposals

The communications workers union is recommending acceptance of labour court proposals to end the threatened postal strike.

It follows a meeting with the executive committee which represents more than 900 ‘An Post’ staff.

The row had centred on a pay review for Post office counter staff and changes in work practices.

Members will be ballotted next week.
