Moriarty appointed Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin

A new bishop has been appointed to the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin.

The new bishop, Jim Moriarty, will take over from the retiring Dr Laurence Ryan in August.

Bishop Moriarty has also served as an auxiliary bishop in Dublin.
