Police in the North are investigating two overnight fires amid suspicions that they were started deliberately.

Police in the North are investigating two overnight fires amid suspicions that they were started deliberately.

A Catholic church on the Woodstock Road in Belfast was damaged after what police believe was a fire-bomb attack, while a commercial premises in Derry was destroyed in a separate blaze which appeared to have been started maliciously.

Several fire brigades were called to the scene and spent several hours battling the fire.
