Mitchell to contest FG leadership election
Dublin south-central TD Gay Mitchell has announced his intention to contest the Fine Gael leadership election, which is due to take place next Wednesday.
Mr Mitchell is the fourth candidate to put his name forward for the job following Michael Noonan’s resignation after Fine Gael’s disastrous election performance.
