A 36-year-old Belfast woman has died in a road accident while on holidays in the former Soviet republic of Uzbekistan.

A 36-year-old Belfast woman has died in a road accident while on holidays in the former Soviet republic of Uzbekistan.

The accident happened at the weekend near the country’s capital, Tashkent.

Tina Colclough, the director of the Belfast bureau of the charity Children’s Express, was travelling to China with her partner at the time.

The couple lived in Ballyclare, Co Antrim.
