FG blame Labour for meltdown
Fine Gael is blaming Labour for its political breakdown during the general election.
The party's chairman Padraig McCormack maintains Fine Gael had no alternative party to help it gain votes in the election.
The party says that it was unable to offer an alternative government without the support of Labour party leader Ruairi Quinn.
Fine Gael insists that because of this it was difficult to stop Fianna Fail getting such a large support.
