Dennehy wins final Cork SC seat

John Dennehy has won the final seat in the Cork South Central constituency after a second recount left him six votes ahead of Kathy Sinnott.

The second recount actually increased his lead from two votes to six votes.

The original election result had given Independent candidate Kathy Sinnott victory.
