The Progressive Democrats’ newly elected TDs are due to meet in Leinster House later today to discuss how it should proceed in talks on forming a new Government with Fianna Fail.

The Progressive Democrats’ newly elected TDs are due to meet in Leinster House later today to discuss how it should proceed in talks on forming a new government with Fianna Fail.

The PDs doubled their number of seats from four to eight in Friday’s election and yesterday, party leader Mary Harney said some of the new deputies would prefer to go into opposition rather than coalition with Fianna Fail.
