FF takes three seats in Laois/Offaly

The count in the Laois/Offaly constituency has been completed.

Fianna Fail's Brian Cowen was elected on the first count with 18.5% of the vote.

Tom Parlon of the Progressive Democrats got in second, with 13.4% of the vote.

Also elected were John Moloney and Sean Fleming of Fianna Fail and Fine Gael's Olwyn Enright.
