Green Party take sixth seat
The Green Party won its sixth seat when Dan Boyle caused a surprise in the five-seat constituency of Cork South-Central.
FF’s Batt O’Keefe has also joined Health Minister Michael Martin, with Simon Coveney returning for FG, however his running mate Deirdre Clune missed out.
Independent Kathy Sinnott won by three votes over FF’s John Dennehey for the fifth seat. A recount will be done.
