Bertie sends condolences to Noonan

Fianna Fail leader Bertie Ahern has sent his condolences to Fine Gael leader Michael Noonan who has resigned following his party's poor election showing today.

Speaking at Fianna Fail party headquarters tonight he said: "Politics is a tough game. I want to send my best wishes to Michael Noonan tonight. I understand what he's going through.
