Hundreds of people are expected to gather in central Dublin today for the 28th anniversary of the Dublin-Monaghan bombings in which 33 people died and hundreds were injured.

Bereaved families and survivors will gather at the memorial on Talbot Street at 11.30am this morning to commemorate those who died in the 1974 atrocities.

They will be joined by members of the Omagh families, Bloody Sunday families and many others who were bereaved during the troubles.
