Ahern rejects economic projection criticism

Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern has rejected Opposition claims that Fianna Fail’s economic projections are ignoring a 'black hole' in the country's public finances.

Fine Gael and the Labour Party have said that health services and garda overtime will face cutbacks after the election because of overspending by the outgoing Government and a fall in tax revenue.
