'IRA activities killed Colombian civilians'

The North’s First Minister, David Trimble, has claimed that dozens of civilians died because of the IRA’s alleged training of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).

Speaking in Stormont, Mr Trimble blamed the IRA for a mortar attack on a church in Colombia which, he said, killed more than 60 people.
