Flood Tribunal cost €6m this year

It’s reported that the Flood Tribunal has cost €6m so far this year, although it has not had a single public sitting.

The inquiry held a public sitting on December 19 and it is not expected to sit again in public until July.

Mr Justice Flood’s report on the tribunal’s probe into the financial affairs of former minister Ray Burke will be published ahead of any hearing.
