Six men have been arrested and are being questioned by Gardai on suspicion of membership of the Continuity IRA.

Gardai raided a meeting that was being held at the Glentworth hotel in Limerick earlier today and arrested the six men.

Three are believed to be from Dublin and the other three are from the Limerick area.

The six are being held at Henry Street and Mayorstone Garda Stations.
