Labour promises to promote workers' rights and safety

The Labour Party has launched plans to promote workers’ rights, to introduce two extra bank holidays and to improve statutory redundancy packages.

Speaking in Dublin today, party leader Ruairi Quinn also said that existing legislation on worker safety must also be improved.
