FF to announce details of health policy

Fianna Fáil is due to focus on the issue of health today as the general election campaign reaches it midway point.

Bertie Ahern, Charlie McCreevy and Micheál Martin will outline proposals to end hospital waiting lists within two years and to extend the medical card scheme to include an extra 200,000 people.
