A US-based electronics firm has announced plans to close its factory in north Dublin with the loss of 375 jobs.

A US-based electronics firm has announced plans to close its factory in north Dublin with the loss of 375 jobs.

Solectron, which manufactures electronic equipment, plans to relocate its operations to overseas locations.

The company has been operating in Clonshaugh since 1997.
