The five main political parties have ended their meeting at a Dublin hotel without agreeing a panel of experts to examine their economic manifestos.

The Green Party, the Progressive Democrats, the Labour Party, Fine Gael and Fianna Fail all met at 6pm to finalise the terms of the assessment, including the potential economists who will be tasked with carrying out the review.
