Phone services hit by vandalism

Phone supplies to homes in Co Cork are being reconnected after overnight vandalism left services dead.

Gardaí say three fibre-optic cables in the north of the county, between Mitchelstown and Fermoy, were deliberately severed with a hacksaw.
